The University of Saskatchewan is subject to The Local Authority Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and in some limited circumstances, The Health Information Protection Act. The university is required to provide access to information while also protecting the personal information in its possession or under its control.
Right to Know Week
International Right to Know Day is September 28, 2023 and September 25 to October 1 is Right to Know Week. Right ot Know Week is celebrated to raise awareness of the importance of access rights and open, transparent government.
Did you Know?
Right to Know Day was first proposed at a conference in 2002 and in 2019 the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed September 28 as the International Day for Universal Access to Information.

Working Remotely
